Greta saved 4580 Euros
After giving birth, Greta's teeth started to deteriorate rapidly, she lost several teeth and wanted to get implants in Sweden. Her dentist could have had her teeth done for 9400 euros but Greta decided to travel to Budapest instead. After making an appointment she travelled to Budapest with Finnair and paid for 170 Euros for the return flight, she paid 40 Euros transfer fee and booked accommodation for 250 Euros. Greta had to travel to Hungary twice for her treatments, so travel and accommodation together cost 920 Euros. Stefan saved 2120 Euros
Stefan's dog needed orthopedic surgery in Sweden. The quote he received from the Swedish vet for the pet's surgery was for 4800 Euros. Stefan wanted to find a more cost-effective solution for his pet, so he travelled to Budapest with a Norwegian return flight for 250 Euros, he bought a round trip pet ticket too for 150 Euros, paid for 40 Euros for transfer and booked accommodation for 4 nights for 250 Euros. Total fee for veterinary treatment in Hungary cost 1300 Euros. Although Stefan had to travel back to Budapest for a check-up 2 weeks after the operation, he booked flights and accommodation again, but even then, the total cost of his pet's surgery cost a total of 2680 Euros.
